Award-Winning Local Janitorial Company Owner A Featured Speaker
The National Association of Minority Women Entrepreneurs will host a free tele-summit from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (EST) Monday and Tuesday, August 20 and 21, 2012.
Experienced business women will share their entrepreneurial stories to encourage, motivate and inspire minority women entrepreneurs. Each of the speakers will offer 45 minutes to one hour of information.
When I founded my cleaning business in Las Vegas NV as a “solo-prenuer” almost 20 years ago, I had no idea of the growth, enjoyment and success that awaited me, said Pam Washington, CEO and President of A-1 Janitorial Services. Between that and my consulting company – to help other cleaning business owners “Build My Cleaning Business”, my work has provided me with more than a way to earn a living. The ability to build companies I can be proud of while serving both clients and employees is one of the most rewarding things I could have ever done. I’m filled with gratitude every day and it just keeps getting better and better!
Speakers will share their experiences as entrepreneurs, describing the challenges they have faced and the tools they’ve used to stay energized. Ms. Johnson noted that the focus on women will help attendees who want to follow their natural instincts to balance the professional with the personal.
“Women want to connect back with their community, whether it’s immediate family or their society. It makes sense to go with this instinct rather than fight it and conduct business as if it’s in a vacuum.” Ms. Johnson explained, “If a woman is starting a cleaning business, it shouldn’t be just about doing the work but providing a more fulfilling life for everyone. “One of our speakers, is a professional organizer who helps her clients de-clutter and find peace of mind as well as free time to enjoy life.”
The tele-summit is open to the public and those who attend must register on the NAMWE website, www.namwe-connect.org. You may also contact Pam Washington at (877) 580-9646 or at email@example.com for more information. All registrants will receive a detailed agenda and access information.
